The significant other, kids or roommates, become increasingly upset with their internet lifeline cut off.
Try and find your ISP's number
And finding that number can be challenging when the internet's down - No zipping onto their website to find that number.
Phone the Call Centre
Finally after hunting the elusive number down, you take a deep breath and phone the Call Centre.
Press buttons
After being greeted by that recorded voice you start pressing buttons hoping you'll navigate the maze succesfully and get through to the right person.
Wait on Hold
And then the true pain. Hearing you're 23rd in line and being thanked for your patience as the clock ticks, your temper rises and your bank account drains.
